SP90-1 Vintage soapbar
Faithful recreation of the 1946 Gibson® single-coil. Recommended for country, jazz, swing, blues, rockabilly, classic rock and heavy rock.
The short, wide bobbins account for higher output and more powerful mid-range than Strat® or Tele® single-coils. To be vintage correct, the SP90-1 is wound with plain enamel wire on the same Leesona winder that wound the 1950s versions. The tone is sweet and smooth. Comes with single-conductor hookup cable.

Often, the SP90-1 Vintage is used in the neck with an SP90-2 Hot or SP90-3 Custom in the bridge for tonal versatility.

Please note the slightly taller, vintage correct, .745” height profile, compared to the SP90-2 and -3.
Consult the Seymour Duncan  website for complete dimensions to see if it will fit your guitar.    Choose cream or black cover.
SP90-2 Hot Soapbar High output P-90.
Excellent for heavy blues, classic rock, hard rock, punk and metal.

Extra coil windings combined with dual (small) ceramic magnets produce higher output, increased sustain, and more sensitivity to subtle string movements. Most noticeable, when compared to the SP90-3, is the pronounced upper mid-range detail that makes this pickup really cut through the mix. Comes with single-conductor hookup cable. Slightly shorter .585” height profile.

Available for both neck and bridge positions. Also popular, is an SP90-2 Hot in the bridge position with an SP90-1 Vintage in the neck for tonal versatility.

Choose cream or black cover.
Players  Mike Ness / Social Distortion (neck & bridge), Rickey Medlocke / Lynyrd Skynyrd (bridge)
SP90-3 The Custom Soapbar  High output P-90. Excellent for modern country, heavy blues, classic rock, hard rock, punk, garage and metal.

Unlike the SP90-2 Hot, the Custom uses two large ceramic magnets for extra output, more compressed dynamics and sharper attack. The result is a full frequency response with extra punch. Comes with single-conductor hookup cable. Slightly shorter .585” height profile.

Available for both neck and bridge positions  Often, the SP90-3 Custom is used in the bridge with an SP90-1 Vintage in the neck position for tonal versatility.

Choose cream or black cover.

Players  Rodney Cravens / Dishwalla (bridge), Brent Woods / Vince Neil Band (bridge), James Pennebaker / Lee Roy Parnell & Delbert McClinton (bridge), Mike Stone / Queensryche
STK-P-1  Stack Soap Bar P-90 sound without traditional hum. Versatile and applicable for all musical styles.

Comes with four-conductor hookup cable which allows for series / parallel / split wiring and tonal options. In series wiring, the tone is loud, brash and great for heavy rock. In parallel wiring, the sound is brighter and thinner and better suited to jazz, blues and country. Taller .951” height profile.
Available for both neck and bridge positions   For use in any P-90 guitar. However, if your pickup cavity is less than 1.25 inches (32 mm) deep in the neck position or .75 inches (19 mm) in the bridge position, guitar modification may be necessary.

Choose cream or black cover.

Players  Dweezil Zappa, Geoffrey Whitehorn / Roger Daltry Band, Whitey Kirst / Iggy Pop, Mark Browne / Melissa Etheridge Band
SPH-90 Phat Cat Authentic P-90 sound in a humbucker retrofit size pickup. Recommended for country, jazz, blues, rockabilly, classic rock and heavy rock
.
Originally developed in the Custom Shop for Hamer® Guitars, a Phat Cat is an actual single-coil P-90 Soapbar that fits under a humbucker cover and drops into humbucker-equipped guitars. The tone is big and fat, er, phat. It uses two Alnico 2 magnets for more sustain and softer attack. Also, the metal covers provide more shielding and noise reduction than standard soapbar covers
Comes with single-conductor hookup cable.  Available for both neck and bridge positions. The neck pickup is RW/RP relative to the bridge for hum-free performance when both pickups are used together.

For use in any humbucker-equipped guitar. Works especially well in balanced instruments with rosewood, ebony or maple fingerboards.
Choose between nickel plated or gold plated cover
.
Players  Tom Dumont / No Doubt, Bill Frisell, Steve Pedulla / Thursday
