We have been doing this since 2003 & this is our story.

What We Do

We are a family run Guitar shop 9 miles out of the city centre of Nottingham. We supply guitar products online to all parts of the UK and some parts of Europe. Our Online trade is ever-growing due to our great work ethic and pride in our "bend over backwards" approach to retail.

 

Why We Do It

We try to be the shop that we never got to shop in. The disappointment of going to a guitar shop and "the guitar guys not in today but can I help"? Or " No sorry were not familiar with that product" All the products we sell are products that we use on a regular basis. We have a great knowledge of the products we sell. We won't pass you over to our Bass expert or Pickup expert. Your already talking to them.

 

How We Do It

All Products are checked before they are sent to any customer.

Every product that is in stock is shipped same day sometimes within the hour!

Always a real person to talk to either on the end of the phone,email or in the shop.

Quibble free returns policy.

Great honest advice from people who use the products your buying.

Great stock levels to avoid lengthy waits on deliveries.

 

History

Chris (owner) has played guitar since he was 13 years old. At 18 he started working in a local guitar shop, by the time he was 20 he had mastered the running of a general guitar store. He left in early 2002 and started his own guitar teaching school (The Guitar, Bass & Drum School) Soon after, he decided to open a retail side to the business.

Crazy Train Music was born.

After trading for 2 years as a Bricks & Mortar shop, the internet was becoming an ever stronger force, so to dip a toe into the internet John (Dad) dabbled with some old dusty stock on eBay. We sold the lot in 2 days !! After a few months of retailing Seymour Duncan pickups on Ebay we decided to open our online store www.crazytrainmusic.co.uk

This is still going strong to this day and we thank you just for reading this and spending some time on our pages. Our site is ever evolving and we are still growing as a business. We do sell guitars and accessories but it is Seymour Duncan that we are known for best.
